THE ISLAND OF KRYTOS
NORTHERN KRYTOS—Northern Krytos is primarily city after city. Though most cities are very beautiful, there are a few, such as Uptown, where things aren’t exactly the perfect image. Northern Krytos is inhabited by businessmen, office workers, and your everyday worker. Most people come to Northern Krytos in order to get work or find business. There aren’t many people who live in Northern Krytos simply because the cityscape is pretty. Though the best place to shop, most shopaholics and other people take the train in for a day or two, and then leave.
Northern Krytos is known for it’s pretty cityscape and most people will see the Northern part of the island at least once, if not more, in their life. It’s a big part of the Krytos economy as well, as everything that is made elsewhere is imported to the North and sold there.
SOUTHERN KRYTOS—Southern Krytos is more farmland and forest, as opposed to Northern Krytos’ skyscrapers and office complexes. Southern Krytos is mainly fields and forests with a town here or there, though it’s well worth it to visit some of the lands that humans don’t inhabit and haven’t built up the way Northern Krytos has. The farmers of Southern Krytos are the main source of organic vegetation and resources that are brought into the Northern cities, seeing as Krytos as a whole doesn’t have many outside sources. The farmlands of Southern Krytos provide food and other natural things for the people in the North, and all over Krytos.
Most Northerners enjoy staying in their urban environment, and most don’t travel to the rural towns of Southern Krytos unless business calls or there are family reasons. The South is probably the least inhabited and visited place in Krytos, but the people who live here don’t mind that. Contrary to popular belief, Southerners are not hillbillies, nor do they act like it.
CENTRAL KRYTOS—Central Krytos is the mid-ground between the North and the South, the suburban landscape is perfect for Northerners who need a vacation. Central Krytos is, in both directions, only one to two hours away from both sides of the island. Central Krytos is divided into two main villages, Upper Village and Lower Village, both wealthy towns who compete for popularity. While Upper Village is more of a vacation spot to Northerners after long year at work, Lower Village is a more commercial boardwalk-without-the-ocean type town. Both towns are very beautiful and only fifteen minutes apart by car. Most Islanders have visited one or the other at least two to three times in their lifetime, and many make Central Krytos a regular vacation spot.
